for your product. In 24 hours.

Tell us what you're building. We'll come back with a custom plan: what to ship first, what to skip, recommended stack, rough timeline, and a budget range. Optional 15-min call after if you want one.

What's in it

Delivered within 24 hours · no call required · 2 slots held this quarter

What's in the plan

Six specifics. As long as it needs to be. Yours in 24 hours.

Build sequence

What to ship in week 1, what to ship in month 1, what to deliberately punt to v2. Most plans we see are 3× too ambitious for the runway — we'll cut.

What to skip

The features your competitors built that don't move the needle. Founders rarely cut things; we will, with reasoning.

Stack recommendation

Concrete: Next.js or Remix? Postgres or DynamoDB? Vercel or Railway? With reasoning tied to your specific scale and timeline.

Rough timeline

Weeks-to-MVP, weeks-to-paying-customer, weeks-to-Series-A-ready. Honest about what's possible vs. aspirational.

Budget range

What this should cost to build, monthly, with a senior team. So you can compare quotes against a real number.

Hiring shape

Whether you need a senior IC, a fractional lead, an embedded pod, or a full hire — and the order to do it in.

A real plan looks like this

Here's a sample.

Build Plan · Confidential · Synthetic example · Excerpt

B2B ops platform · pre-seed

Stage: idea · Founders: 2 · Capital: $400k pre-seed closing · Goal: paying design partner in 90 days

Verdict

Shippable. The hard part is sales, not engineering — your MVP only needs to be credible enough to charge $500/mo. Don't build features for hypothetical buyers.

Build sequence

  • 1Week 1–2: auth + workspace model + 1 hero workflow (the one your design partner will actually use daily).
  • 2Week 3–4:billing + usage events + admin dashboard. Charge from week 4, even if it's ugly.
  • 3Month 2: integrations (Slack + Google Workspace), permissions, audit log. Now you can sell.

Skip for now

  • — SSO. Two design partners won't need it.
  • — Mobile app. Web works. Mobile is a Q3 problem.
  • — AI features. Your competitors' AI demos are vapor; ship the boring loop first.

Stack

Next.js · Postgres (Neon) · Vercel · Stripe · Resend

Timeline

MVP: 4 weeks · 1st paying: 6 weeks

Budget range

$28–40k for the first 90 days, with a senior fractional team

Hiring shape

Fractional CTO + 1 senior full-stack. Hire FT only after $30k MRR.

Yours will be specific to your product, market, capital, and constraints. We don't reuse plans.

How it works

From submission to plan in three steps.

01

You tell us

Three quick questions in the form. Stage, what's blocking you, and an email. About 30 seconds — we deliberately keep it short so you don't talk yourself out of submitting.

02

We draft

Piyush reads it, opens your site / deck if you sent one, thinks for 30–60 minutes. The plan is hand-written, not templated. We say no when we should.

03

You get it

Plan in your inbox within 24 hours. As long as your project warrants. We hold one of this quarter's 2 slots for you for 7 days while you decide.

Honest fit check

Who this is — and isn't — for.

For you if

  • You're a funded founder (pre-seed to Series B) and need a real opinion on what to build first.
  • You're a CXO or operatorscoping a digital build or AI-native rebuild and want a sanity-check from someone who's shipped.
  • You're evaluating quotes from agencies and want a real number to compare against.
  • You're tired of vague consultations and want a concrete artifact instead.

Not for you if

  • You're looking for a generic template or PDF. This is hand-written.
  • You don't have capital to act on the plan. Ideation-only sessions waste both our time.
  • You want a free pitch deck review or co-founder. We're neither.
  • You're building something illegal, predatory, or designed to scrape user data. We'll politely decline.

FAQ

The questions you're thinking right now.

Is this really free?

Yes. The plan itself is free. We make money when build plans turn into engagements — about 1 in 5 do, which is a fine ratio for us. The other 4 leave with a useful artifact and our blessing to go elsewhere.

Why are you giving away senior thinking for free?

Because the alternative — generic intro calls — wastes everyone's time. A real plan tells you whether we know what we're talking about, and tells us whether your problem is one we can actually help with. Better filter for both sides.

What if I'm too early — just an idea?

We can still help, as long as you have capital to act. We'll be honest about whether the idea is worth building now or whether you should validate the demand first. No-capital ideation is the one bucket we punt on.

Do I have to engage with you afterward?

No obligation. The plan is yours. If we're not the right team for the build, we'll tell you who would be — we know most of the senior fractional and agency operators in the space.

What if I want changes to the plan?

Email us back. We'll iterate once for free. Beyond that we'd typically move into a paid scoping session — that's also where most engagements actually start.

How is this different from a discovery call?

A blind call gets you 30 minutes of our time and zero deliverable. A build plan gets you a concrete artifact you can share with your team and compare against other quotes. We've folded the call into the same flow — once you've sent us the form, you'll see a calendar to grab a 15-minute slot if you want to add context. We get the details either way; you save the time if you don't.
